He's everywhere, our governor.  A regular policy dervish.
As lawmakers, lobbyists, policy makers and everyone else in the extended world (whirled?) of the State Capitol geared up this week for opening day of the 2012 legislative session Wednesday, Dannel P. Malloy also was busy:
Other business was certainly going on in Connecticut this week -- from the aftermath of the East Haven police department scandal, to the beginning of sure-to-keep-coming testimony from agencies and nonprofits that state budget rescissions are cutting into muscle and bone by this point.
But the ever-moving Malloy kept the picture shifting, diluting many of the pained reactions.  This coming week, with his State of the State Address, the focus should become more fixed.
