Election History

Giuliano was elected in 2002 to this newly drawn shoreline district at the mouth of the Connecticut River. She beat Eileen Baker, an expert in deaf education, for the second time in the 2010 election.

Background

Giuliano has been a school psychologist for 28 years. She is a former member of the Old Saybrook Board of Finance.

She has been a Girl Scout leader, catechism teacher, and is currently a Eucharistic Minister in her church. Giuliano and her husband have two adult daughters.

Financial Disclosure

 Giuliano reported income from the Lyme-Old Lyme public schools and her salary as a state legislator. She reported income for her husband, Joseph Giuliano, from East Hartford Public Schools. They own homes in Old Saybrook and Cape Coral, Fla.They jointly own securities in Fidelity, ASP and ING.Giuliano filed a confidential addendum listing any debts exceeding $10,000.
