Deirdre Shesgreen, Washington correspondent. Deirdre is the former congressional correspondent for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, where she spent a decade writing about the Missouri and Illinois delegations. She has covered campaign finance,  health care,  and lobbying, and she is a two-time winner of the David Lynch Memorial Reporting Award for regional coverage of Congress. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
